Rotary Club of Calcutta South West chartered on 26 December, 1956 began the journey from 26 January, 1957 with the Charter presentation ceremony and meeting under the presidentship of PP J S Mathur. The club was sponsored by Rotary Club of Calcutta.

6 September, 2009: Blood Donation Camp and Thalesemia Awareness Camp at 74 Pally Khidderpore. The camp will be conducted by Ashok Laboratory. The project will start 9 am onwards, members are requested to join.
